Oracle for the New Year 2025

Four cards chosen for 2025. The first is from Influence of the Angels Tarot by Jody Boginski Barbessi and Karen Boginski. Here we have the Magician, number 1 of the Major Arcana. We see Michael whose name means 'to be like God'. He provides his courage, leadership and protection. He points heavenwards, with rays of light entering his body which he directs to the tools and chalk board table upon which he works and produces magic for our world through skills and intentions, focus, solving problems (not creating them), accomplishing goals. The message is: Pay attention to the difference between self confidence and overconfidence.

Next from Odin of the Nine Realms by Sonja Grace, Harvest, Natural Cycle, Fruition. This rune is about the fruition of your labours. You have planted the seeds of your endeavours and cared for your fields, and now you can have a plentiful harvest through your focus, hard work and determination. Jera is a natural law, the work pays off! This is the way to be in harmony with the Creative Intelligence. Though you might think that your rewards for work are material wealth, the reward is in itself, the joy, blessing and gift of hard work, completed with dedication and sincerity.

From Auset Egyptian Oracle Cards by Elizabeth Jensen, I have chosen the card of Sekhmet with the subtitle, Change and Healing and the number 35 which becomes 8, the number that turned on its side becomes the symbol for eternity. Sekhmet is the fire goddess and daughter of Ra, the sun god. She follows his instructions and can reap terrible revenge on humans for not respecting his authority. Ra stepped in and with the assistance of Tehuti, transformed her into a great healing deity.

Lastly, from Sacred Spirit Reading Cards by Anna Stark, we have
a card titled 'Between Worlds' subtitled 'New Directions'. The ancient soul of the sea turtle travels many journeys with great independence and pushes on despite great hardships. Its shell is its home and protection. Across many cultural and religious groups, turtles are often associated with the bridge between Heaven and Earth. It is also understood to be a symbol that supports planet Earth and its people. If the turtle is your totem, your shamanic power animal, you are to go with the flow, surrender, drift into the sea of life. You are strong and independent! Turtles are an endangered species. Care for those who care for you!
