1. The Law of Stillness:
Each day, make time for quiet reflection. This will provide a ‘time-out’ from the routine general demands of your day. In this vacuum, listen to hear the ‘still small voice inside’. This will provide inspiration, allow you to take stock, and be rested and uplifted. If you do not create a time for contemplation, you can become pre-occupied and over-stressed and miss what is truly important in your life. It is sufficient to reserve twenty minutes to sit in comfort, alone and without interruption, with nothing to do except daydream. Listen to your thoughts and you will receive revelations.
2. The Law of Uniqueness:
Never will any other person in the world - past, present or in the future, be the same as you. Your fingerprints, iris pattern, your entire DNA is unique. Your experiences, personality, skills, talents and the ways in which you express yourself, are entirely individual to you alone. But this law instructs you to also recognise the specialness of others in order to gain mutual connection, empathy and understanding. Your body is made of the same substances that exist in the stars that light our sky at night. Everyone is comprised of star-dust material. Everyone is special beyond imagination.
3. The Law of Eternal Values:
This law highlights boundaries, ethics and standards and applies to everyone, whether rich or poor, young or old in every country across the globe. It is recorded in all worthy religions and philosophies throughout all time. It explains the importance of living your life in a way which is responsible, reliable, disciplined, patient, honest, generous, calm, compassionate and kind. Without this law, relationships break down and society becomes anarchic and degenerate. By performing an act of kindness each day, the world becomes a better place for everyone, especially those most in need, such as the poor, disabled, elderly or infirm.
4. The Law of Health:
You have been given only one life and you must care for it with great intent. Your physical health is important but you must also consider your mental and emotional health by seeking all that provides for good health and by avoiding anything that affects health adversely. Choose good relationships and adopt a positive, confident disposition. Find beauty, wholeness and meaning in your daily affairs. Love is the greatest healer and the greatest blessing. Food, drink and exercise should always be conducted in moderation, avoiding addictions. Spiritual health involves purity, joy, kindness and gratitude.
5. The Law of Power:
You will be endowed with power many times throughout your life but many people seek power positions in order to misuse it. The wise use of power involves an openness to listening and learning. This law requires playing by the rules, avoiding temptations to exploit someone in a weaker position. Power is used to help, not hurt ; to give, not take ; to guide, assist, teach, support and inspire. Be the best person you can be, and insist others give you the best of themselves. Recognise the power others can have over you and be aware to any abuses.
6. The Law of Respect:
This law highlights a reciprocal admiration that you can offer freely to others and receive in return. However, everyone is likely to experience many difficulties in their life, such as bereavement, rejection, accident or illness. Feelings of grief and anger are common to everyone, as are feelings of celebration and laughter. All your emotions change over time. One day a person might upset you, but tomorrow they may be of help to you in some way. Whatever circumstance a person is experiencing, always be respectful. Who knows when you could be down on your luck.
7. The Law of Energy:
Energy is a finite resource and requires a balance between intake and expenditure. In personal terms, work and rest, responsibilities and recreation are examples. It is a highly prized fuel by which all life takes place. You need to convert ways in which you waste energy into ways in which you can best use what you have. There are also ways in which you can create and contribute energy, by acts of caring and sharing, and by being helpful and considerate. Energy is being used in many ways in this world and sensitivity to its use is relevant to this law.
